Meet the Vendors

Tubby's Taste | @tubbystaste

"I come from a long line of Jamaican cake ladies so it's safe to say that baking is in my blood. Growing up in Miami, I was surrounded by unique fruits, foods, and flavors. I started making desserts as a hobby to explore baking with the flavors of my family's culture. It quickly turned into a passion then a business - and Tubby's Taste was born in 2014!"

Tasting India | @tasting_india

"Tasting India features a line of micro batch and handcrafted spice blends, Bombay Chili Crunch as well as authentic Masala Chai and Cardamom Coffee. Our versatile blends are perfect for grilling, stir fry, stews and more! Whether it’s infusing flavor into your pot of Sunday Pasta sauce, spicing up your summer BBQ’s, wowing your dinner party guests or creating an exciting breakfast to kickstart your day, there’s something here for everyone. Tasting India is a queer, Woman of Color owned business."

SydPlayEat | @sydplayeat

"Sydney grew up in Chicago surrounded by delicious snacks and treats from her family's baking business. At SydPlayEat, our mission is to provide a culinary experience that elevates everyday meals through the use of high-quality, unique, and flavorful ingredients."

Soul & Smoke | @soulandsmoke

"After graduating from his grandma’s kitchen, Chef Carter went on to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Next he spent 15 years in fine dining where he perfected his skills, techniques and flavor profiles. Chef Carter’s Original BBQ sauce is a Kansas City-style sauce that’s bold, thick, tangy, and a little sweet. Made with a complex blend of more than 22 artisanal ingredients, it’s the classic choice for your favorite grilled or smoked meat."

Pickled Prince | @thepickledprince

"We are a couple of classically trained chefs that started Pickled Prince in 2020 when Brian was furloughed from his kitchen position. Our business started with our fan favorite “OG Pickles” and from there we slowly added more offerings including giardiniera, numerous hot sauces, preserves and more. We like to focus on seasonality and source everything we can from the farmers markets we participate in."

"We make vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free products from Oaxaca, Mexico. Mole sauce, Estofado sauce, Tomatillo sauce, mole verde, mole blanco. Chili oil, tortilla chips and fresh salsa too."

Bif Cheese | @bifcheese

"During the George Floyd protests, the owner of the largest Pimento cheese brand in the country made some public racist comments. Prior to that, I bought their products all the time. I was inspired to turn that story on its head and create my own pimento cheese and sell it to friends to raise money to battle food insecurity. Last year I donated $700 to Greater Chicago Food Depository. The success of my fundraising efforts spurred me to start a mission driven pimento cheese company. I have done several partnerships with restaurants including Paulie Gee's Pizza."

Ranellio's | @ranellios

"We’re a Filipino owned, Chicago-based company focused on creating original products based on culinary flavors from the Philippines. Our Filipino Style Adobo Dipping Sauce makes the flavors of the Philippines accessible to everyone."

See you there!
